As part of the University of Calgary's Energy Research Strategy "Energy Innovations for Today and Tomorrow", Trican VP Completion Solutions Andrew Buzinsky will speak on the topic of Well Completions, current technology and innovation.

The UofC's Grand Challenge series will bring together various stakeholder communities for an informed and impactful two-day workshop in Calgary, November 23-24, 2015. Participants will include representatives from the oil and gas industry, federal and provincial government agencies, academia, and other stakeholder groups.

The university's energy strategy crosses four areas of research labelled Grand Challenges. These include Unconventional Hydrocarbon Resources, Hydraulic Fracturing, Low Carbon Energy, and Cumulative Effects of Energy-Related Processes
